Vipan Nikore, MD, MBA, is a former IBM software developer turned internal medicine physician. A member of the clinical and Advisory Services team at Cleveland Clinic Canada, Dr. Nikore sees patients as well as acts as the Chief Medical Director of TD Bank. He is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Homecare Hub, where his team is revolutionizing the long-term care system for seniors and those with disabilities by creating an affordable, on-demand small-care home platform. He is a clinician and former director of medicine at Trillium Health Partners, an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, and was a visiting research scientist in health informatics at MIT in Boston, where he co-authored “Global Health Informatics,” one of the first comprehensive global health technology books. He also acts as an advisor at the Health Education Project in Haiti and has worked clinically in Haiti, Peru, Ghana, Nepal, and India. Dr. Nikore completed his MD at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC), his internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic, his MBA at the Yale School of Management, and his BSc in computer science and software engineering at the University of Western, Ontario. He is a recipient of Canada’s “Top 40 under 40” award, the country’s most coveted award for young leaders.
