As Senior Vice President, Government Relations at the Canadian Propane Association, Allan works to position Canada's propane industry as an affordable, low emission, and accessible solution to the country’s changing energy needs.
He brings more than 35 years of experience in business, politics, government relations and public service to the challenge.
Prior to joining the CPA eight years ago, Allan worked on Parliament Hill for various MPs and Senators. He was also a senior advisor to federal cabinet ministers.
In 1994, Allan founded a rural weekly newspaper in Nova Scotia, the Guysborough Journal, which his family still publishes today.
