Mike Gladstone brings over 20 years of strategic public and government relations experience to his role as Vice President Utility Public Affairs and Communications at Enbridge. Mike leads a multi-functional team of public relations, communications and engagement professionals for North America’s largest natural gas utility servicing 7 million customers across 7 different jurisdictions in Canada and the United States.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts, Political Science degree from the University of Calgary with a focus in foreign policy and Middle Eastern politics, Mike worked at the Alberta Legislature and later went on to serve as a key advisor and confidante to a number of notable elected officials in Alberta. While at BFI Canada / Progressive Waste Solutions Mike led many successful projects through approvals and construction and during the 2013 floods in southern Alberta was a member of the Emergency Operations Centre in High River, specifically working on the coordination of waste removal, clean up and restoration.

More recently, Mike completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario Ivey Business School.

In his current role at Enbridge, Mike serves on the executive leadership team for the Enbridge Gas, as an Executive Committee member of the North West Gas Association, Vice Chair of the Energy Council of Canada, Co-Chair of the Canada / US Committee at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the Board of Governors for the Business Council of British Columbia.

Mike lives with his wife Michelle and sons Jameson and Bennett in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta where they enjoy their weekends in the mountains skiing, swimming, and hiking.
