Alita Fabiano is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in both the workplace and society. Raised in South Porcupine, Ontario, Alita moved to Ottawa to pursue her degree in Communications and Law at the University of Ottawa. Since graduating, she has dedicated her career to promoting inclusive growth, ensuring that underrepresented groups have the opportunity to fully participate in the workforce and beyond. As Chair of the Women’s Health Coalition of Ontario, Alita leads initiatives to improve access to healthcare, advance women’s health, and address gender equity issues across the province. She also works as the Director of Communications and DEI for LRO Solutions, a boutique marketing agency in Ottawa.

Alita is driven by a commitment to creating equitable opportunities for all individuals and believes that building inclusive communities benefits society as a whole. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations to promote inclusive hiring practices and workplace accessibility, whether through her consulting work, her role at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, or her time on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association.
